How it works
Recipient of the SMS
To send SMS for example to 6941000000 you send an email to 6941000000@email2sms.gr
Sender-id of the SMS
[Optional]
With the &from parameter you define the sender-id of the SMS.
If absent the default sender-id of the account is used

Whatever is your favorite email client, either a web email service (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, GMX or other)TM or a desktop-mobile app (Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Outlook or other)TM the process is simple and always the same.

Send more than one SMS
More than one &to parameters may be used for more recipients.
Technical note: the maximum length of email address (before the "@") is 64 characters according to RFC specifications.
Therefore only up to max of 4 &to parameters-recipients can be used.
Tip: For even more recipients the &groupId parameter should be used.
SMS to groups of contacts
A group of contacts may contain as many contacts as you need.
The &groupId of each group can be found in your 'Contact & Group management' page.
A list of all groups and their ids can retrieved wth the api/group/list API endpoint.

Trim long emails to single SMS
No need to worry about long emails consuming your SMS account balance. You can easily &trim emails to the maximum that will fit a single SMS.
Tip: For a demonstration of how &trim works start typing in the contact form. It will trim the final SMS to 160 characters long

SMS with Unicode or GSM encoding
The default encoding of all SMS is GSM.
However the &unicode parameter will encode the SMS in UCS-2 Unicode encoding

Account API Key
Using the API key of your account you can send SMS from any email and not just the one you registered with your account
